Arrival and we start our panoramic city tour of Copenhagen. Copenhagen, which was a fishing town during the Vikings' time, was discovered in 1167 and soon turned into an important commercial port city. The city was named "Copenhagen", meaning "trading port". Following our arrival, in our panoramic city tour; Christianborg Castle, Nyhavn, Amelienborg Palace, Opera House, Langelinie Wharf and Little Mermaid Statue, where the Danish Royal Family spend the winter season and have the famous balcony scenes, are among the places to see. The famous Mermaid Statue was created by sculptor Edvard Eriksen in 1913 and is visited by millions of people each year. The sculpture, which is 1.25 meters high and consists of a bare-breasted and tailed mermaid sitting on a rock, becomes even more realistic with the image that emerges when the waves crash against the rock on which it sits on windy days. Edvard Eriksen; He designed the face of the statue by modeling the ballerina Ellen Price, and since the ballerina did not want to pose nude, he completed the body with his own wife modeling. Then Strøget Street, 3.2 kilometers long, which is the shopping center of Copenhagen, is the largest pedestrian sidewalk in the world. This pavement, which is quite long; It includes the streets Frederiksberg, Nygade, Vimmelskaftet and Øster, as well as the squares Nytorv, Gammeltorv and Amagertorv.
